Mark came to quote me for a range of jobs, including building shelving, electrics (new extraction fan in bathroom, cupboard light, additional powerpoints and lighting), tiles and bathroom refurb, and I was happy with the price we agreed. The work was completed to a good standard in the agreed time. I found Mark and his colleague Lucas friendly and accommodating, and I'd certainly get in touch about future jobs.

Mark was great to work with... everything well planned and always turned up when he said he would. Also worked very tidily never leaving the flat a mess... so although I came home to what felt like a building site it was always left habitable. Completed all works to a high level with great attention to detail. Also, completed a couple of jobs not on list at no charge... which was a nice touch.

I'm more than satisfied with the very professional refurbishment job Mark did on the property I bought, which had been badly neglected. He willingly undertook extra work which had not been foreseen at the beginning and was extremely reliable and conscientious throughout. The work involved general repairs, painting and decorating and maintenance jobs and much of it was very challenging. Thank goodness I found such a good builder. I would recommend Mark to anyone.

After we'd initially hired Mark to do this job, we had him back to do the rest of our kitchen refurbishment, and we're very pleased with the results. He and his team worked long hours to get the job done, explained what they were doing and checked what we wanted throughout: Mark even offered to feed our cats while we were away. I was also very pleased by how quickly Mark responded when we had a few queries after the job was finished: he didn't just disappear at the end of the job.

Mark completed all of the work quickly (within three days) and to a high standard. He also called and checked I was satisfied with the work afterwards - unlike most builders who are almost impossible to get hold of after they've been paid. I would recommend Mark to anyone looking to hire someone for home improvements (whether small or big jobs). I will also use Mark for any future jobs that come up.

Mark and his team did a very good job on our bedroom conversion. They worked long hours to get the job done on time and to a high standard. Mark sorted everything out so we didn't have to worry about anything and he stuck to his estimate.

I can thoroughly recommend Mark and his company. Mark was really helpful when he came for the quote and provided an excellent combination of advice about where it would not help to try to cut corners/costs, and advice and help in how to try to cut costs on other aspects. The quote for replastering a ceiling, one and a half walls, and other small sections was very very reasonable. Both Mark and the plasterer he arranged were really lovely, very punctual and reliable, and worked hard, fast, and long hours to get the job done quickly for me. The finish on the plastering is absolutely perfect - not an easy job on a ceiling that was so heavily cracked. They also cleaned up everything so well you could hardly tell they had been. By chance I found my shed roof was leaking just before the job started - I asked Mark to quote fixing it for me, and he was wonderful and without my asking he secured his own plastic sheeting over the roof for me while he was measuring up to provide a temporary cover from the rain. I will be hiring him to repair the shed roof and will very likely be asking him to help with all my ongoing improvements and repairs.

Mark did really great work on what turned out to be a trickier job than expected. He stayed until the job was finished and charged the same price as he originally quoted, he also called the following day to check I was still happy - thoroughly recommend.

Mark recently transformed a bedroom in my flat from a dull, cramped and uninspiring area to a light, spacious and welcoming room. He removed a partition wall and dado rail, plastered a new ceiling and walls, altered central heating pipes, installed down lights and a central light. He replaced missing sections of coving and skirting board and fully decorated the room to a high standard. In addition he was happy to relace light fittings in two other rooms and to remove unwanted wall lights. Mark kept me informed about difficulties that arose and additional costs incurred. He gave helpful advice and explained options available. I would be happy to use Mark again and fully recommend hiring him.

Mark not only fitted two vents but he also fitted a security light, installed a bathroom extractor fan and put two radiators back on the wall. I was really happy with the work he did and will be hiring him again. He did everything he could do to keep the costs down and was really friendly and accommodating when i found more things for him to do.
