I have used Ramsbottom stoves twice, as we moved house less than a year after we had the stove fitted. I have found them to be sensible, polite and very keen on safety. I have had good advice about choosing a stove, the work has been done on time and very, very neatly. Each time Mr Brownlow has made a point of explaining the best way to use the stove and has emphasized how to use it safely. The first time we had had difficulty getting any builder to look at our chimney because of the age of the building and because we are in a conservation area, but Mr Brownlow was clearly confident and experienced, unlike an "ordinary" builder who didn't seem to know what to do with our narrow, twisting chimney. We had been told that it would be "impossible" to fit a modern liner, but they managed it no problem. I would recommend Ramsbottom stoves wholeheartedly, and we really enjoy having a wood burning stove. They also sell and deliver dry, good quality firewood. Mark also responds quickly to emails or texts, so you don't feel that you ever have to chase him to contact him.

We called at Raqmsbottom Stoves' shop to enquire about a wood-burning or multifuel stove and were told everything we wanted or needed to know. They arranged for someone to come to our house and give us an estimate and advise us on what would be suitable in our room. We were given all necessary information and given a verbal quote right away. When it came to the actual installation, the fireplace and chimney were sorted and the stove fitted in less than a day and within two weeks of us accepting the quote and giving the go ahead for the work to be done. The installers worked very well and quickly and cleaned up any mess. They also lit the stove to show us how to do it efficiently. We would not hesitate to recommended Ramsbottom Stoves to anyone looking for a wood burning or multifuel stove. Thank you for everything and we love the stove.

We called at the shop to enquire about a multi fuel stove and were told everything we wanted to know,and they arranged for someone to come to our house and give us an estimate and advise us on what would be suitable in our room,we were told everything what we needed and given a verbal quote right away and then sent a written one.We had the stove fitted in very fast time from receiving quote,and everything was fitted within the day and the original chimney was swept at no extra costs (and there was a lot more work in that than was expected)both installers worked very well and quickly and cleaned up any mess and even lit the stove to show us how to do it the best way.We are very happy with the service we received right from start to finish and have recommended Ramsbottom stoves to different people we know, thank you for everything and we love the stove.
