Although we originally asked Peter to quote for our guttering and roof, when he arrived we also asked for a quote to re-plaster and fit our kitchen. (The roof work will be going ahead in the new year due to our changed timescales). Peter gave what I feel was a competitive quote and we agreed a start date. This had to be a little further off than I would have ideally liked, but I think that the fact he is busy and you have to wait tells you a lot about the kind of person Peter is. He started work on the Monday, the 'kitchen' was an empty shell with just a sink unit. After the first day you could see the kind of worker Peter is, he left everything tidy and had done way more than I thought he would achieve in one day. This was the pattern for the whole job. All work was done tidily and to a high standard, he checked any details to ensure we got what we wanted and he also catered for any additional things / alterations we had. The work was completed in less than 8 days (plastering, plumbing, kitchen fitted, tiling completed). It looks wonderful. I will definitely be using Peter again, and would highly recommend him. One final point I think is worth mentioned is that we didn't have to oversee all the work as it went on. Peter came and went each day while we were at work, I felt completely comfortable knowing he was there alone. Thank you Peter!

I hired Peter Dolling to come sort out a mess of a job done by another builder on our cladding. Peter and his team were nothing short of amazing! To start with, Peter was the only builder who responded almost immediately to my posting. He came promptly and gave us a good quote for the job. On the day, they got here early and worked for the whole day. Because the work done previously was so bad, they worked from morning till evening on a job that should have taken just half a day. The most amazing thing of all is that the price remained exactly the same. To give you an idea of how bad the previous work was, the cladding was done at an angle with the base going in further than the top of the window, which meant that rain water just poured straight into the room below. It also looked awful on the outside, like the house was leaning forward. Well, Peter's sorted all that out now, not only is the cladding straight and picture perfect, the best part is that rain water no longer gets in. I'm so grateful to Peter Dolling! Not only was he honest and a really humble guy, he' s fixed a problem which is very worrying for us as we have three young children in the house. I'll definitely be asking Peter to come do the other jobs in our house and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He has a great eye for detail and is a perfectionist, so whatever job you have, just hire him, I guarantee you will not regret it. Guaranteed!!!!

Hired Peter to replace a ridge tile that had blown off in the wind. He provided a sensible price for the job, kept me informed on when he would be around to do it and turned up on time. He seemed very capable and tile was fixed in less than an hour. No mess left. Polite and honest. Thanks.
