Nick came to view the job promptly and helped us clarify exactly what we wanted. He booked in the work and completed on schedule and to price. We are very pleased with everything he has done and would definitely use him again. Highly recommended.

Nick was a charming guy and was always prompt with his time keeping. The only issue was that the job was suppose to be quoted for hand rail and bannister and when Nick turned up he informed us that the initial quote was only for the bannister, not to much of an issue but we had obviously not budgeted for the extra cost. He did how ever fit the handrail at cost, when the old bannister was removed the plaster came of the wall and as we was not aware that Nick did know how to plaster we had to contact someone else to do this work which was also an additional cost. Saying all that the job is done very nicely and looks really good.

I cannot praise Nick highly enough, all the previous comments on Nicks standard of work are endorsed here. He is a treasure! and he is going to be a busy man and he deserves it. Well done Nick! brilliant job and we are delighted. Mike Hill

has done a wonderful job as my kitchen walls were old and uneven , modified the units to fit the shape and design, he takes great pride in his work and the over all look of the kitchen he is coming back once the new appliances arrive to attach my doors at no extra cost , i am a very happy customer and would highly recommend......................... Nick built a bookcase for us into the alcove next to our fireplace. Clear & speedy communication from first contact right through to the finish. He quoted a fair price, completed the job on time and to a very high standard, we're extremely happy with his work. Nick layed a solid oak real wood floor for us through the entire downstairs plan of our house. Nick's time keeping, carpentry skills, aptitude and attitude can only be described as exemplary.The work was completed on time and to a high standard. Nick was responsive to our requirements and listened intently to ensure the end product was just what we had expected.We felt comfortable leaving Nick to work unaccompanied in our home and Nick will be returning to complete more carpentry work in the near future.Nick has a full range of professional tools which he uses with a high degree of expertise,therefore I can confirm that all of his previous feedback is an accurate and true reflection of his talents.If you need a chippy then look no further than Nick Brooks. We are very pleased with Nick's workmanship and organisation. He sanded and finished two floors to a high standard and successfully adapted and rehung an antique door into an awkward space. Highly recommended.

Nick did a great job converting shelves to a hanging cupboard and generally completing many unfinished tasks around the house. We are expecting to do more work on the house in the near future and, when the time comes, will not hesitate to ask him to quote us for building a new staircase amongst other things. Seemingly very honest and friendly.
