Louis Kingwill fitted/project managed the refurb of our new kitchen. From the outset we were impressed with his professionalism. He listened carefully to what we wanted and explained our options and the cost implications of those options. He made suggestions where appropriate but was never pushy. He worked with speed but never haste. He took the time to deliver a quality job, from ensuring the basic rendering of the walls through to the fitting of the cupboards and tiles. He always turned up when he said he would, and would give us updates on progress at the end of each day. He stayed as close to the original quote as possible. If there was an unforeseen problem that needed to be dealt with, he warned us as early as possible. If he felt that he should have predicted the additional work needed he did not charge us. He ensured that the fitting of the kitchen was as stress free as possible - he managed the liaison with the supplier and coordinated other contracters as needed. He showed attention to detail and ensured that every last part of the job was completed. The end result is fabulous and we are very happy. We would be confident in recommending Louis to any other home owner and will definitely be calling upon him again in the future. Pete and Natasha

Only a small job (assembling and fitting a shower screen) but not as simple as I had originally thought. Louis came up with the perfect solution and did a great job. He did all the assembly work outside and left my bathroom spotless. I will definately contact him again the next time I need something done.

It ended up not being just a kitchen fitting- Louis just ended up renovating our entire house! He has been absolutely brilliant and worked flat out to get the place habitable so we could move in in 7weeks including new kitchen and bathroom, ripping out and making good lots of grim 70's stuff (fireplaces and weird badly built cupboards), building new cupboards, installing an upstairs WC in a former cupboard space, gas central heating (installed by his plumber), sanding and restoring floorboards, new doors and redecorating throughout. We have been so impressed with his work and are very glad we hired him and his team. Nothing has been too much trouble and he was always happy to suggest moneysaving options which really helped. He has kept us uptodate with costings etc regularly and managed to keep us calm and sane thoughout the whole experience (we hadn't done a renovation before!)- In fact I think he should probably also sideline as a marriage guidance counsellor. ;)

Would definitely recommend Louis and will use him again. Professional job, carried out within times discussed, good finish and well cleaned -up afterwards.

Louis was very professional. Not only did he complete the job in the agreed timescale, he was available quicker than expected and was very neat and tidy around my house. I would definately recommend Louis!

Louis responded very promptly and had visited the property and given a quote within 24 hours. He and his team worked very efficiently and completed the job without fuss or issue. When I asked Louis to return to look at a snagging issue, (window not opening), he returned as promised and fixed the problem and did some extra maintenance on the window in question without prompting. He seems to be prepared to go that extra mile and do things properly and does not pile on the cost as a result. I am delighted to have found such a good tradesman through this site and will undoubtedly use Louis again. I have no hesitation in recommending him.
