Came when said. Did an excellant job and tidied away when finished. WIll definately use again for any other joinery jobs.

Mark turned up to do the job spot on time with his mate. They both got straight to work and worked solidly until the job was completed. When finished they asked me to inspect the finished job. Shortly after they left there was a short, but heavy shower and, since the job they had done for me was the installation of a loft window, I rushed upstairs to check for leaks. No problem - perfect - and one completely satisfied customer. I have already asked Mark to quote me for other jobs and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone in the area.

K&M are the sort of company you rarely find these days – they take pride in their work and go the extra mile to deliver a top class finish. From the first day they have arrived on time, worked hard, fixed unforeseen problems which came up, cleaned up after themselves and have produced work to a really high standard. Because they were so competitively priced, I also decided, in addition to having my kitchen fitted, to have my outhouses converted to a utility room and downstairs toilet as well. K&M advised me on applying for building regs, the best layout for the new rooms and were able to come up with a plan that gave me more space than I'd imagined possible. Any problems that have come up (big and small), they have discussed all the options with me and allowed me to decide what I wanted to do without pressuring me. Nothing was too much trouble and, unlike other workmen I've had in the past, they weren't concerned with how easy or hard something was for them to do, only that I should have things exactly how I wanted them. Although my job started out as a basic kitchen install, we had a few problems along the way. On ripping out the old kitchen it was discovered that the floor was sinking and further investigation showed a lack of proper foundations under both the dining room and kitchen floors. This being a month before Xmas, I was concerned that I'd have no kitchen for Xmas as replacing them would take about 3 weeks alone. Mark and Clive rearranged subsequent jobs they were due to do, worked weekends and brought in extra labour to complete this extra work and they didn't charge me anything above their usual daily rate. They then continued to install the kitchen as planned until the next problem hit - an old leak from the shower above opened up again over my lovely new kitchen! The boys again were able to suggest solutions and, once again, they accommodated the extra work required to fix the leak. Due to their professionalism and commitment my kitchen was installed and functioning properly in time for Xmas. Along with the kitchen being fitted, they supplied a bespoke glass splashback for me, made some beautiful solid oak windowsills, fitted a new back door and hung a new internal door for the dining room. I trusted them with a key to my property so they could let themselves in when they arrived and regularly left them working whilst I went out for appointments; they never let me down and were completely trustworthy. They’ve also built and fitted a new back gate and fence, bricked up the coal shoots in my cellar and done some plastering patchwork. I’ll be using them for future carpentry and building work.

Mark and team were always on time, worked hard and pointed out things that planners missed. New kitchen is in and we are pleased with it. Would definitely use Mark and team again.

We are so pleased with our new bathroom. It looks lovely. After a delayed start due to me ordering a bathroom suite from a dodgy internet company which did not refund my money for 3 months. I followed Marks advice and ordered one from the local builders merchant. Mark and his team do an excellent job. They are very clean and tidy workers, communication is excellent, regularly checking with us if everything is as we wanted it. We are happy to recommend KandM and will use them for furure jobs.

£130 to hang and refit internal doors and attach door handles. Really impressed with work done to very high standard, doing over and above what I had expected....I've had to clean up after workmen previously but the guys at Kandm ensured it was all tidied after the job. Have already asked for quotes for future work with them as very happy. Trust them to work in my home when I'm out which is rare nowadays. Big thanks!

Mark and his partner did our patio with the slabs we had already purchased in a couple of days. Decent friendly guys. When we put our job up on here, they were one of only two companies to actually ask to pop over to see the job before quoting - and that gave us more confidence as we had an opportunity to ask questions. Most of the others either put in really high prices, or ridiculously low that made us think we'd end up on watchdog complaining about a poor job. That certainly hasn't been the case with K and M. Very professional - turned up as agreed at 8am both mornings, and have offered support/advice as we are pointing the patio ourselves. Thanks!

This is the second job that K&M Building and Joinery have done for me within the space of a month because I love their work! They have done a brilliant job in plastering my bedroom and they cleaned up everything and completed perfectly on time! Thanks Mark!
