    Remove a small tree
    I hired Jim to remove a small tree blown over in the recent storms. H turned up on time, he was cheerful and friendly, he did the job efficiently and cleaned up - I would hire him again

    Extractor Fan/Cooker hood needs fixing

    Mr Low was hired to repair an extractor fan. A quote of £85 plus extra for materials. It turned out that the repair was for a sticky switch and no materials were needed. I thought that the cost was a bit expensive. A couple of weeks after my tenant stated that the fan was still not functioning properly. I asked Mr Low to return and he stated he would but it would be after a holiday. After hearing nothing on his return I sent an email asking for him to let me know when he was intending to carry out the work. I have heard nothing so will be employing another tradesman. I would not use or recommend Mr Low's services.

    Answer from tradesperson:

    I went to job got the extractor going on full power it was a stuck switch after two weeks tenant said it was still not working so I returned and had a closer look it turn out that when kitchen was fitted that the fitters had not vented the extractor therefor extractor was not fitted properly .It now works fine .This is not a new kitchen so extractor never worked properly .On my first call out I gave a price so the customer did not have to except it but I was told to go ahead .

    Kitchen sink
    He arrived on time, made an excellent job of my sink and cleared up the mess.

    Shower
    We hired James to fix our shower. He came to look at the job within 24 hours of my post. He gave us a prompt quote. He came did the James replied to our ad to fix our shower and gave us a quote within 24hrs. We accepted the quote and James came back and got the job done. He was polite, worked hard and did a very good job! We have a list of jobs that we want James to do!

    Various maintenance jobs to house exterior

    Jim arranged the job quickly and easily. The work was done well and I would recommend and use his services again.

    shelves and small cabinets

    James turned up on time. The work he did was excellent. I intend hiring him for several other jobs I need done, starting next week. I found James to be friendly, helpfull and very patient. I hired a handyman to put up shelves 2 days prior to James coming. The job he did was a total disaster. James sorted the damaged shelf and also put up another small shelf that was not part of the quote. I am a severly disabled pensioner and I am thrilled to bits to finally find someone like James.

    Tumble drier fitting

    Jim did a great job. He was quick, efficient, polite and tidy. Looking to employ him for any future handyman jobs.
