Ian did a great job and gave us some great advice and helped us with building inspector. Work completed on time and to the agreed price. Would defiantly give Ian a call for any other work we need.

Ian responded quickly to my request and came to the house the same day. He carried out the work within a few days. His estimate was accurate, he explained the process in detail, carried out the work professionally, was friendly and approachable (as was his colleague) and tidied up well after the job was complete. I would highly recommend him and would have no hesitation in using his services in the future.

Was a good job just a lot of mess left as plasterers only seem to have one sheet so plaster all over the floor and light fitting but work was ok

The lads who came to install the fence were very polite and made sure to complete the work in the timescale provided. They also made sure to leave the area clean after finishing the work. Happy with the end result.

Ian and his team have done a very good job on the work required for me. The process was complicated due to me going through a house sale and the work being needed as part of this. Ian was extremely patient, professional and accommodating throughout the process. I would certainly use him again and recommend to others.

Very happy with the advice and the expert report submitted by Ian Smith on the 'unfinished extension'. We can use this report to prosecute the original 'builder' who did such an unsatisfactory job. Grateful for the knowledge and wisdom of Ian Smith.

Ian, John and the rest of the team did a great job of our large extension and new porch. Ian and his team were fantastic from start to finish. They came in with the cheapest quote but the standard of work was of top quality. We were so lucky to find a good builder who does as he says and never tried to rip us off with any hidden costs etc.., We had an upstairs extension built and a garage conversion which was all finished ON TIME (we have heard of builders who's jobs go over schedule by months - Ian told us from the start what day the job would be finished by and he was true to his word) Ian dealt with the building regulations people for us and everything was passed first time round. Ian and his team are professional and friendly, I recommend IMS Building to anyone looking for a trustworthy/affordable building company.
