BEWARE!!!! Stay away from this dishonest, cutting-the-corners, unprofessional "specialist"! Hired in October, took a deposit, then most of the money. Mid-January, the job was still not done. And not just the finishing touches; we were left without two windows in the conservatory, the door was not fitted properly and needs re-adjusting, another window (in the bathroom), which only had the handles replaced, was left without any sealant and with holes from where the previous handles had been, so the bathroom has become very cold.
We needed the works done, so that our little baby boy was warm during the winter, instead we were left with a house which is colder that it was before!
Ian does not keep in touch or gives you updates regarding suppliers. He was over an hour late for the job without any notice- we thought he may not be coming at all. He didn't measure the windows properly, so couldn't fit any of them on the day and then it took weeks for him to order new ones. He never turned up to fit the new windows, either.
One of the windows in the conservatory was so badly measured for that Ian could not use it all, another one was slightly better but had a large gap on the side once put in the window frame and the corners of the window had to be chopped off so that it could fit! We have arched windows- the arches had been completely ignored because "most people don't bother". We're amazed how this person could have gathered such positive feedback! DO NOT HIRE!!!
