Everyone. Please don’t use use this cowboy. Had car pull on done less than 12 a months ago and the cobbles have all sunk, separated and even lifted in places. He promises the job will be remembered long after the price. Yes for the wrong reasons. Offered a 5 year guarantee that I had to beg for months to get. And it’s as much use as used toilet paper as he won’t come out to sort. He never answers the phone, email or text once he has your money. Even says he’s ill and not working but can clearly see he is as people leaving reviews on here. Totally dishonest person. He even says they are experts. What a complete joke. He has the gift of the gab but don’t fall for it. He shouldn’t be allowed to trade and be on sites like mybuilder.

Redesign and landscaping started well and initially I was happy with the work. But work was rushed at the end and suddenly finished in 6 days instead of the projected 8. The standard of finish is poor and unsightly. Not enough ballast stone put on border in garden so black membrane showing through and levels uneven; resin spilt over stones on edging for drainage all around conservatory; artificial lawn sunk at corners and never had sand put on. Jez came to collect concrete plinths left on neighbours land after 4 weeks of requesting this was done. He has promised on numerous occasions to come and complete the work over the past 3 months, but does not do so and often just doesn't turn up or keep in touch. Work will now have to be completed by another contractor at an additional cost to ourselves. No promised receipt or guarantee has been forthcoming. Would not hire again or recommend.

Great team of guys who did the job. Disappointed I still haven’t got the invoice or written guarantee promised. Don’t think I’d use them again.

Hard working and polite people who I will use again. Pricing was very competitive and the workmanship was first class. Overall I am very pleased with my choice of Hanrahan Building & Landscaping.

Jez was organised, considerate and honest. The job was well planned and executed very quickly. We are very pleased with the job and recommend Jez and his team, very polite cleaned up after themselves. Great job.

This review is on behalf of my mum who recently had some work done by Gerrard. Overall my Mum was happy with the patio, however, the completion took longer than expected as Gerrard advised his van had broken down so couldn’t get here to complete the work. After contacting him multiple times, they did eventually come and finish the work (some grass that was missing and to fit a washing line), but the work was rushed and within a week of the line being used, this has now fallen over. Since the work has been completed, we have also noticed that water has been coming up through one of the paving stones, and from a recent review and quote from a different local gardener; we are now having to have a drainage system put in and the line installed correctly what’s costing my mother an additional £1000. It’s really frustrating that we wasn't advised beforehand that the drainage system was needed as Gerrard did advise that my lawn would get boggy, but no mention of how to stop these issues from happening. Overall it’s ended up being a very unpleasant experience, and also has resulted in my mum having to pay additional money to ensure the job gets done correctly. Wouldn’t recommend or use again

Requested a quote jez was was helpful with ideas and suggestions for the garden.. The team did a fantastic job over the moon with how well the garden and patio turned up. They are a very friendly team. Would highly recommend them for any one considering to have landscaping done. They was very tidy and cleaned up regular. If we had any questions they was more than happy to help and advise.
