Don did a great job building our extension. His team have a great work ethic and always arrived early, worked very hard whatever the weather and left late. Don was always available to discuss the progress of the build, advise on different options and liaise with building control. I would have no hesitation in using Don and his team again.

We hired Don Carpentry Ltd to install our kitchen after the problems we had with a previous firm. Don Carpentry exceeded our expectations. They have done a first class job and we cannot praise they too highly. Their attention to detail is most impressive. They have also painted the kitchen and dining room to the same very high standard. We have hired them for additional work in the new year which we are sure will be done to the same impeccable standard.

Don's carpenter, Vacys, did a great job for me. Vacys did several carpentry jobs around the house. Including fixing a rotten window, re-hanging some large wooden french doors, fixing flushbolts into doors, and boxing in some cables. I agreed to pay a day rate plus cost of materials, which we went to Wickes together to buy in the morning. If you book with Don you don't need to worry about some muppet YTS guys turning up and doing a cowboy job on your house. There were no stetsons involved! Vacys has 25 years experience in carpentry.

I arranged for Vacys from Don Carpentry to have a look. Vacys assessed the problem with the door and frame right away. Most of the frame was fine except one area of old rotten wood at the base. He suggested replacing the bad part of the frame with new wood, plane the door and re-hanging it so that it closed properly. Also, i wanted to fit a new door lock, he was happy to put that in too. Vacys arrived on time and got straight to work. everything went smoothly. he fixed the frame and fitted new door hinges and re-hung the door. Then he fitted my new lock and box strike plate and checked the door closed and locked properly. finally, he cleaned up afterwards. the repair has saved me a lot of time and trouble. i am now painting the door and it will look fine for another few years. thanks.

We were pleased with the work Don carried out. He replied promptly to all my emails/texts, and arrived punctually when he said he would. The job was done quickly and very well, and we are pleased with the finish. He charged a very fair price, and we think he gave fantastic value for money! A negative comment was that he did not think to remove our furniture from the room before he started creating huge clouds of brick dust, such was his endeavour to get the job done. He also left quite a bit of brick dust in the room and a tiny drop of adhesive needed to scraped off a window sill. Overall, we would we highly recommend him.

Don arrived to quote on time and was very polite and helpful. He turned the quote around very quickly and it was very competitive. Prior to the start of the job we added additional jobs for Don – all of which he was happy to add-on. Don and his team worked quickly and did a fantastic job in creating the kitchen-diner for us. They were always on time every day, I never saw them stop to take a break and they often worked well past 5:30 in the evening. Don liased with the Building control officer and was always happy to answer any of my questions and queries. There were some delays caused by ourselves (windows and doors were delayed) but Don was flexible and worked around this hold up. The job was completed to a very high standard in my opinion and we will definitely be using Don and his team again.

During the quote, subsequent queries and arranging job stages, Don proved reliable and professional throughout, repsonding promptly to questions each time.
