David and his team replaced the living room floor and replaced a window with timber patio doors. The work is of an excellent standard and we are delighted with it. David gave good guidance and advice as the job developed. He was flexible with the job which wasnt straight forward because its an old house, and the attention to detail was what we hoped for I would recommend him and his team

David and all of the tradesmen working with him were polite, efficient and tidy. Work was done to a good standard and advice was given to improve my original plans, with good attention to detail - but without adding to the cost! - including changing external paint colours to match others in the street, finding matching skirting and patching up a damaged garage felt roof. The job included fully redecorating a small room, painting external woodwork, replacing a small tiled roof and a felted canopy roof, fitting wall ties and fixing some downpipes. We were very happy and would work with this team again.

Very prompt and courteous service. My tenant is happy with the work and I was very impressed with Mr Finney's speedy responses to my requests. Would definitely recommend him to anyone.

I would definitley recommend DBF. The work we have had done is to an excellent standard. Fast, efficient, reliable, reasonable and clean.

The gloss work on this job was not up to the standard that I would expect from a professional painter and decorator. The job was rushed through in 2 days without the necessary prep work (minimal sanding leading to runs in the paint work and poor adhesion of the new paint) when there was no time pressure from my side. I requested Dulux paint and when the job was complete the paint that was used was Johnstones. Before the job was started I was told that when the walls had been prepared for painting (which involved filling holes where a dado rail had been removed) I would not be able to see where it had been. This is not the case. All told I could have done a better job myself and saved a big portion of the money.

Fantastic job - All done in one day rather than three Everything thing clean and tidy just needs to dry for a week. New tap, new fence and gate at the side of the house, Very helpful.
