very friendly and completed job very quickly

Darren rebuilt the retaining wall in our front garden. He is a conscientious worker : did an efficient job and left the site clean and tidy. Would recommend him.

Darren did an excellent job under difficult conditions, with rain and frost interrupting the job. He erected the scaffolding by himself, worked steadily throughout and completed the job even though it entailed coming across here at irregular intervals. Well done!

We hired D&S builders for our extension after a positive consultation with Darren, a competitively priced quote for the work we wanted done, and for their flexibility with arranging the purchasing/collection of materials (we wanted to buy all materials ourselves). We could always get hold of Darren on the phone, he kept us up-to-date with the ongoings of the extension, and nothing was too much trouble. For example, we decided to try and hide an RSJ within the ceiling rather than have it exposed below the ceiling joists (we made a large opening in a supporting wall), which meant the hire of additional equipment and extra time required to achieve this. D&S builders were happy to discuss our options and agree on the best approach - we are so pleased with the final look that it was definitely worth the hassle! Darren is approachable, personable, flexible and quite a talker! We are very pleased with the quality of the work that was carried out and wouldn't hesitate to use/recommend D&S builders for future work.
