I hired Craig, initially to fit a new kitchen window, and later to renovate the kitchen itself. The window fitting has been extremely well done and looks as though it has always been there. It is a superb addition. The kitchen refit was skilfully handled by CTPBuilders who were outstanding, in my opinion, from the outset. Before we began I had many questions and concerns which were professionally answered and I also altered my ideas several times before the refit even began. Each idea change was taken on board and handled politely and swiftly. The result of which was that I had confidence in CTP. The entire kitchen has been smoothly re-plastered and the electrics and plumbing moved to appropriate and helpful points. The units have been fitted snugly into place and the appliances look seamless in their new homes. There was one addition to the contracted cost in the form of pipes that required moving in order to fit the inbuilt washer. I was pleased that the cost was affordable and that CTP gave me the option of reinstalling the original washer which wouldn't have cost more. At no stage, with two builders, an electrician and assistant, along with gear and appliances in new boxes and the kitchen itself, did we feel crowded or imposed upon. Wyatt and Craig were exceptionally friendly and professional in attitude and manner. We felt comfortable having them here. The end result is a kitchen we're very proud of and looks easily twice the price we paid for it!

Throughout the process communication was swift and accurate. An initial quote was provided and then soon finalised with a site visit. Craig's plasterer Robert was available within a few days and completed an excellent job and cleaned up thoroughly before he departed. I would thoroughly recommend CTP Builders.

Craig has handled our job very professionally. The plastering was completed on time, to a high standard and fair price. The guys who came were nice and they cleaned up very thoroughly afterwards.

Communication prior to the job starting was excellent, and on the day Craig arrived on time with all the required supplies. The speed and quality of the job was excellent, and we are VERY happy with the finished result. I would certainly use Craig again if we need any further bricklaying work done in the future. Overall: Excellent. 10/10

I was very pleased with the work Craig and his team did. It was finished to a high standard, very clean, no mess left and Craig is always very prompt in coming back quickly if you have any questions. I have asked Craig to do some more work on my house, would highly recommend.

Craig arranged for Steve (who installs the windows and doors for them) to come and quote for the work. He was very flexiable on what we wanted, not pushey and gave a competative price. The lead time of 3 weeks was kept to and Steve even came to fit the door on a Saturday at no extra cost. The work was excellent and all rubbish cleared away before leaving, he even hoovered up! We would use them again and have no problems reccomending them to others!

We hired Craig and the team to create an archway between two rooms and brick up an old door. A little later we also decided to brick up another door and create a new set of double doors between two rooms. We received a quote quickly (£685 for the archway, same for the double doors) and arranged for the job to be done. The builders (Craig and Wyatt) got on with it, although the job got done in two or three stages, over the space of a couple of weeks. At this stage we made a partial payment of £1000 and were left with two slightly ragged holes in walls. Next, the team really cut down on communications. They wanted to get the team's plasterer and carpenter in to “quote us”, however this took a long time to organise and multiple last-minute appointment time and date rearrangements were made by them. Eventually, we ran out of patience and hired a different plasterer. It appeared the builders wanted us to pay the plasterer separately, as an extra, to finish the archway. We had been under the impression that the brief "create an archway" covers completion of works, including finishing/plastering and does not describe merely making the initial hole in the wall. The carpenter eventually came, but we never heard back from him with the quote. In the end, we hired other tradesmen. Although some of the basic works were carried out, we feel that the lack of follow up and casual communications do not warrant a positive feedback.

Craig took a job that other builders weren't too interested in doing and did exactly what we asked for. We're happy with the work and price and would use him again.

Craig and the team did the job very quickly and efficiently. Costs were carefully worked out so I knew what to expect and overall I am extremely pleased with the job. I would 100% recommend CTP for this kind of work
