I want to thank Felipe for his great help for this work. Got a quick call back once accepted his interest. The on site surveyor come next day and the drawing is ready in 24 hours as agreed. The neighbor's surveyor is very picky but several changes were made and the drawings finally were accepted. Felipe also gave lots of suggestions on the party wall issue for free and even talked to the surveyor on my behalf. The neighbor's surveyor initially didn't want be a shared surveyor but Felipe had persuaded him in the end. This saves us a lot of money for paying 2 separate surveyors and more importantly saved our time. I'm really satisfied for the service and will definitely recommend them and use them next time. Five stars.

I knew very little about how the process works but they were great at explaining the planning process and timelines involved. We had interviewed with a few other architects who commented on the unsuitability of our proposal but bischell felt confident they could deliver. We went spent a lot of time at the concept stage because we were keen to get the room sizes we wanted while maintaining the right internal layout. The guys were very patient with me and delivered a fantastic concept that works for us. We had some discussions with the council which helped immensely and bischell really pushed for our proposal even though there was some notable objections to it and no precedence for what we wanted in our area. Plans have now been approved which I am delighted with. Quite impressed with how they fought for my application rather than having us settle with something we wouldn't have been 100% happy with.

Efficient service - quick response and drawings received.

I hired Bischell to do some drawings for and submit my planning application for the installation of some velux windows. Their quote was incredibly competitive and then did the work to a high standard and quickly. I am extremely happy with the result.

I hired Bischell for preparing the planning application and building control drawings for my house extension. From the start Felipe impressed me with his knowledge, creativity, ease of communication and listening to my needs and ideas. During planning application process he was keeping me up to date with the planning officer's feedback and comments and after minor modifications the application was approved with no issues and on time. The building control drawings were very detailed which helped me to get reliable quotes for the build. Throughout the overall process, Felipe was very helpful and providing great advice and answers to any queries I had. If I hadn't already shortlisted one of my friends to build my extension, they would have got this job too, as their quote was very competitive!

I had initial consultation with Bischell and they were prompt and polite. i was very keen to get things moving but Bischell advised this could work out to be a false economy and it is best not to rush the build and start after the winter........AND THEY WERE CORRECT!! When getting the quotes from builders, the specification was very strong and all quotes came in within £3k of each other. I was initially hesitant about paying for a specification as could not see any value, but i trusted the word and experience Bischell gave me and once again they were right. There were so many instances like this where they really advised me well and at the end of the project i can see everything they advised me on was valid and important, even though at the time i may not have been fully convinced. The plans went through and passed first time, which i was nervous about, but turned out to be no bother! We paid a bit more than we would of liked to initially but looking back now, without Bischell i would have ended up paying a lot more through mistakes and my own naivety. My advice to anyone who is undertaking major building works.........Leave it to the experts and heed their advise!! Make sure you fully trust who you are working with as honesty and people who stand by their word are hard to find from my experience!! Overall very impressed! I have recommended Bischell to my neighbor and i now thing he is in talks with them.

Wow, received drawings as promised 24 hours later. Very impressive!

Very disappointed with Bischell. Feedback suggests an efficient company. Our experience is far different. Despite speaking with Bischell in March for a loft conversion by mid-June, missed deadlines and approached the design and planning in a very haphazard manner. My partner and I are due to have a baby 1st week of July, which is why our deadline was fixed. The plans submitted on 3rd April. The plans approved on the 13th May. Only now did the sub-contractor come on site again had to ask for the engineer to site visit. Finally, the engineer came and his plans were released on the 22nd of May. The original start date was 27th May. We finally got plans on the 27th May. Finally got costs 30th May almost 20% higher than our budget. Start date 27th May and 2nd June missed. Communication = zero. We asked for a schedule of payment = nothing. We asked about the contract = nothing. As we were just waiting, we asked the subcontractor who came over to price the job. As we did not award the job to the subcontractor, he then told Bischell we had approached direct (despite us asking him if this was a conflict). Bischell then pulled out of the job saying there was no trust. Baby due in 4 weeks. Awesome company. We have now paid over £1000 for plans from Bischell for a design I have issues with. Shame the only reason we chose and stuck with Bischell through their obvious short comings was the feedback on my-builder. In our case, an awful experience. 1/10. could go on and on.
