helpful and no time waster

I made the mistake of assuming the quote included a visit. After that they we're very good and speedy.

As a builder it proved to be real fun working with Bischell, they understood my need to make the scheme as cost effective as possible (developer hat on!) Then, even came to site during the project to help me customise bespoke details (outside their remit). I gave them a second job, where we explored possibilities and had to work around a tricky tenant. Very accommodating Architects and hopefully we can work again soon.

Bischell and the team got my 6m approved first time round. The engineer was clever in his final design and they met my brief exactly. They dealt with my neighbours in order for me to avoid expensive party wall costs. The final design gave me up to 4m ceiling and a lot of light. I am very thankful for their hard work, The end product looks like something of a magazine. I must admit that after the drawings where completed I asked for a few cheeky extras and they were happy to help me out. I then recommended them to my family so I waited to see if their standards would drop on another project but they did not let me down there! So 2 from 2 projects I give them 20/20.

Met with the bischell team to discuss building regs we needed for one property and planning for another which was a loft conversion and rear extension. These initial discussion were extremely enlightening and they suggested a layout we hadn't considered which involved around not relying on support columns. We had discussion with a few other firms prior which were giving ok but non inspiring ideas. Our home has a weird configuration in places, and tight angles and we were resigned to having to go with something not entirely ideal. We were excited that the designers at bischell could find something else more open plan that worked perfectly for us and by having engineers on staff we were able to explore these options in terms of feasibility at the start rather than later. They are a very creative team with a very apparent interest in delivering something that we would love rather than a paint by numbers approach. It was a very enjoyable and insightful experience to work with them for sure, and I am very happy to recommend.

Great service from felipe and his team! He made sure we were happy with the final drawings by going over them a few times without hestitation. Our builder was happy with all the structual drawings making his life a lot easier. Would very much recommend them to others as clearly documented prices and set up appropriate payment plan. Felipe came to my home to check if a load bearing wall can be removed. Felipe was bright, clearly knew what he was talking about and explained exactly what would need to be done with approximate costings. I found him to be very positive and he gave me confidence that I was dealing with a professional that would deliver a job well done. I would happily use Felipe again for any future work and highly recommend him.

We were very happy with the work carried out. The pre-planning and consultation was excellent, and we were given very good advice as to our options. All questions that we raised with the company were dealt with quickly and professionally. The work itself was carried out to a very high standard, and the workers used were very courteous and considerate, bearing in mind that we were still living in the building. We would warmly recommend Bischell to others.

Felipe did a great job in constructing the scaled drawings. The planning permission was granted and I would not hesitate to use his services again. Highly recommended.
