Barry called me back promptly and agreed to come out at short notice on NEW YEARS DAY when my heating stopped working over christmas.
When I described the problem - he quickly and correctly diagnosed the failed motorised over the phone, and gave me a competitive quote. He also informed me how I could utilise the hot water system to provide some limited heat to the radiators (using override switch on the heating valve).
Barry has a down to earth, relaxed, friendly manner and is happy to take time to explain what he is doing - which gave me confidence.
He is upfront about the trade, unknowns and prices - and does not try to overcharge you or make heating seem like some costly dark art. He kept to his original quote and there were no hidden costs.
As he seemed like a genuine and honest bloke and his prices seemed fair and reasonable compared to the competition - I asked him to service my 5 year old Glow worm boiler too.
He replaced the heat exchanger seal, checked for any residue on the burner and checked CO2 and gas pressure levels.
I was happy with communication, explanations, prices and work done and don't have any reservations about using BK Heating Services in the future.
