We are so pleased we went with Audrius at Afforable Building Company. He and the team work swiftly and efficiently, and were a joy to deal with. We joked that we never saw them having a tea break! The job was a bit complicated, with quite a lot of steel work, but they weren't phased by it like some of the other builders we met with. We requested additions during the build, which were no problem. In fact, Audrius was extremely helpful in making suggestions to improve on our ideas. All in all, we definitely made the right choice of builder, and have recommended them to all our friends.

After getting quotes from 9 builders and talking to previous customers and viewing properties that were both completed & in progress we decided to hire Andy & his team for our rear extension and addition of a porch because they seemed very knowledgeable and couldn't be beaten on price. It was a daunting decision as you never know how a building job will actually progress and what problems you may encounter but we were so pleased we chose Andy as he was always just on the other end of the phone and the few times that we did have concerns he didn't hesitate to go out of his way at his own expense to rectify the issue. At the very start of the project in April we had freak snow and freezing temperatures but this didn't delay the work and we were extremely impressed with all of the teams dedication & work ethic. They were all polite, didn't make lots of noise or listen to music which made it very easy to be around the house while the building work was going on. The project was finished to a very high standard on time & in-budget, and when we asked for additional jobs including laying decking & fixing our front wall they continued on to complete these additions as quickly as possible. I highly recommend Andy and urge you to get a quote as you will be very surprised at the amazing value he provides... cannot recommend enough and will be using Andy for all future projects if he can fit us in.

Andy and his team did a fantastic job. Our neighbours were very uncooperative and restricted noisy working hours quite severely but Andy was very accomodating. He is very easy to talk to and happy to discuss ideas you may have concerning the build. I would definately reccommend him. We are delighted by the extension and will definately use Andy again in the future. Thanks!

I hired Andy for a Single Storey Extension which has now been completed . I found Andy very professional and he always kept me informed how the job was going . He was extremely punctual and his team of lads were extremely hardworking . They were also very neat & tidy and really respected our property .The price for the job was very fair and they have finished the job to a really high standard . I would have no hesitation in hiring Andy again for any future work .

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Andy and his team. I was blown beyond my expectations of the job delivered. Indeed, I am yet to come across any other bunch of professional work men who refuses to compromise on the high standards set for their deliverables. Andy is, apart from his wealth of experience as a builder, a seasoned project manager and his standard of service delivery is impressive. I had not reason to interface with Andy’s workmen as he organised all the activities involved. He worked with me from the planning stage to the very last task, accommodating my requests and paying attention to all details... Although the work was done during my absence, the workmen were dedicated, considerate of my neighbours and always left my property a very tidy state. Andy and his team delivered both on budget and time which is a rarity in recent era of the building industry. With these guys, I have restored faith in the building industry and I have definitely found myself a builder for life. Far from that as I have been immensely busy and wanted to ensure I provided a true and fair feedback!

I hired Audrius as his quote was the most realistic for the job I needed he was very knowledgeable. I have been refurbishing properties for several yrs and I have to say Audrius and his team have surprised me with their professionalism, work ethic and the quality they delivered. 4 wks on and project almost complete I would have no hesitation in recommending them. You’re welcome to get in touch if you have any questions. When taking on a company for such a job you’re always dubious in choosing the right company and I am glad I went with them. I will certainly use them on the next job. The project here was a single story extension in a conservation area with a reconfiguration of some internal rooms. It was a complex job as the structural engineers plans were quite extensive. (he must have been a real 'belts and braces' type of guy) as people thought with the amount of steel required we were building some type of bomb shelter :-) The team were very friendly to deal with and to bounce ideas off. They took extra care to ensure communal areas and the footpath were always kept clean (which made sure my neighbours were happy). A big thank you to the team that worked extremely hard to get the project completed to first fix within the budget agreed and within time. I always use feedback from customers before choosing someone and so I hope this is useful.

We hired Audrius initially as his quote was very competitive and I felt confident with his knowledge and practical approach to repair our roof, this was to remove all the slate tiles, lay new felt, new batons and replace with as many usable original tiles, this was organised and completed with as little disruption as possible to ourselves and we were highly pleased with the finished roof. We discussed further renovation works we wished Audrius to carry out so work continued with loft conversion, basement conversion, chimney brests removed, new boundary wall, replastered ceilings throughout, his team were polite and always cleared away when they left for the evening and they were always early in the morning. All problems were sorted quickly and the best solutions found always with costs kept to a minimum, we also changed things here and there and Audrius always had excellent ideas which would save costs and keep our budget in check. Audrius and his team are professionals and we have other work for them in the future and will not be using anyone else.

Audrius and his team have done a great job on our almost complete extension. We didnt give him much notice to start work and he managed to fit us in around jobs he already had going - all this at a very good price. We are very happy with the work completed and my husband is building control so that's saying something!!! Would definetly recommend.

What can I say? Well put it this way, I won't be using Mybuilder again, as I have found the perfect building company and do not intend to use anyone else... EVER!!! Their quotation was similar/cheaper to other Mybuilder quotes, and was the only quote (or suggestion) to build in brick and block with a full cavity insulation - all other quotes were just for Breeze block. This and Andy's apparent honesty swung the deal for me, so they got the contract. Andy and his team have been fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble, and they have been very proactive, offering suggestions and build ideas. As for build speed, well I could not have asked for more. They are VERY hard workers, and build to a very high standard. Arriving on site at least 5 minutes early every day, and doing a full day’s work (even working on weekends) the build went up very quickly. My garden office looks exactly as I had planned, yet far better than I had expected. I really can't recommend these guys highly enough, and my friends are looking to hire them based on the work they have carried out. Oh and both of my neighbours now want a similar build, and have asked for their details. These guys really are worth every penny. Thank you "Affordable Building Company" and thank you "Mybuilder" for helping me find them. Like I've said, I won't be needing "My builder" ever again!!!

I am very glad that we chose Audrius to do this job. He and his men were very efficient and completed the job very quickly. We live in a mid-terraced house and initially the plan was to go through the neighbour's side access but the neighbours did not want to help. This meant that the materials would have to pass through our lounge, dining room and kitchen. Audrius reassured us that they would minimise the disturbance and they covered our furniture and ensured that they cleaned up at the end of each day. We were very pleased with the end job considering there was a small amount of disruption because of the access to the garden. We are very glad that we decided to go ahead with the outbuilding and we will soon start decorating it and are looking forward to using it. We had a bad experience with builders previously and we were looking for someone who was reliable and I can say that I have no hesitation in recommending Audrius and his team. They were very reliable, professional and kept us up to date re progress of the project from start to finish.
