Please be warned. Avoid this guy like a plague! He is not only a scammer, he is also dangerous! He will put you at risk as he does jobs he is not qualified to do- for example leaving exposed live electrical wires! He does structural work that he is not qualified to do. He will defraud you and cause more damage to your property as we have experienced.
He took job Jan 18th. It is August, job remains uncompleted.
Like all scammers, he gave very good impression 1st 2 days. We decided we might as well get him to do other parts of the house. This gave him the opportunity to ask for more money- supposedly to order materials in advance.
Alarm bells started to ring when accrow bars got delivered and I was asked by the drivers to give my bank details. it was to be a 3 day hire for about £45. I had to pay close to £200 later. So many excuses 1st,his son who was ill, then it was him, later he had 9 Covid, then he broke his arm, wife had covid, then son was ill again, then wife was mentally il. By this time, he had collected close to £5000.
He had many names- Ian, Mason etc. He lives in Ashton underlyne but his company is registered Preston. He refused give his real name. A friend contacted the Police, we were asked to get more info. We have secret recording pictures and his NHS no

We found out we are not the only victims and the money and time we lost is small in comparison other vulnerable people. There is a retired couple in Droylsden that he scammed of over £10,000.
