Customer description

JOB (Ready to start): Structural Steel Frame to install and brickwork to come out. All permissions complete.

PROPERTY: 1950's Semi Detached Lean-to extension in BR2 Pettswood/Bromley area.

ACCESS: Side access to property, driveway parking and road parking.

CURRENT STATUS: The groundworks, walls and roof are complete. The metal work has been fabricated and delivered, but needs fireproofing and installing. Hardcore base is complete with foundations exposed ready for brickwork to come out and metalwork to go in. Width of building is 7.5 meters. Structural engineer and metal fabricator willing to aid with technical information, 3D plan walkthrough for metal work assembly and site visits prior to, and during build.

STEEL: Assembled using 150x90 PFCs (24kg/m) and 100x90 SHS (17kg/m) sections that bolt together to form the finished support. It was designed to make it lighter to install and easier to deliver.

MORE INFORMATION: The job was originally a self-build but installing the metal work proved too daunting a prospect so we've chosen to get in a professional to put in the structural steel and perhaps finish to concrete slab depending.

LOOKING FOR/SUITED TO: Small team/Local small family building firm, with experience in structural installs. Proof of skillset and experience essential to ensure safety of site, workers safety, building integrity and successful building control sign off.
