Customer description

We are looking for an independant contractor to manage and complete the last part of our house renovation. There are a few larger jobs (kitchen, downstairs toilet), plus various other items that need finishing off.

My family and I will vacate the property for social distancing reasons, and to give you space to work. We are self-employed, so we are always in a position to assist where required, answer questions, etc. We do not want to micro-manage and get in the way, however we are looking for somebody who communicates well and is willing to give regular updates, ask us questions where necessary, etc.

KITCHEN - NOTHING DONE - Gut old kitchen - Install new kitchen - Replace sockets, pendant, switch, wire in workshop spur

DOWNSTAIRS TOILET - ALREADY PLASTERED AND PAINTED - Install sub-floor and floor - Install new toilet and sink - Box in

UPSTAIRS BATHROOM - SOME FINISHING OFF AND REPAIRS - Reroute sink and bath waste - Bath overflow leak - Install bath splash guard - Replace shower rail - Bath panel - Replace cracked tile - Seal in bath - Install sub-floor and floor

CUPBOARD UNDER STAIRS - NOTHING DONE - Strip, plaster, paint (emulsion only) - Install sub-floor and floor, through into Hallway (Hallway otherwise done).

LIVING ROOM / DINING ROOM - NOTHING DONE - Replace patio door (& do something with cat flap in kitchen door) - Strip, plaster, paint (emulsion only) - Repair, sand, waxoil existing floor (wood teak(?) parquet-like floor) - Replace sockets, pendant, switch - Wire in outside patio security lights, replacing lights if necessary.

PORCH - NOTHING DONE - Strip, plaster, paint (emulsion only) - Install sub-floor and floor - Install new internal door - Replace light and switch

GARAGE - New consumer unit - Rewire striplight
