Porch replacement - Extensions job in Manchester, Lancashire

Job description

  • New porch and additional work

Customer description

I currently have a small lean-too porch, clad in timber, I think over a wooden frame. It has a felt covered flat roof & a wooden door (pictures attached). I would like it replacing with a more solid brick structure, but keeping the same footprint (perhaps using the existing plinth/foundation). I would like a more permanent roof with better water run-off. I would also like the door to be in the same place, but be half-glazed & made of coloured upvc. The structure won't require any windows, as enough light will come though the glazed door. Points to note: The BT phone line enters through the frame, plus the porch has an electric supply in the ceiling supplying a single suspended light fitting- so care will need to be excercised in the dismantling process. Also note that there is little room between the back of the porch & the neighbour's recent extension. A site visit a must. Many thanks for looking.

Added 4th May, 2021: -------------------- The rose bush will be trimmed & folded down (to be reinstated against the new structure).

Awesome work! Very pleased with the high standard throughout. Anthony & Paul & the team did an outstanding job on replacing my old wooden box porch for a proper brick-built one with a tiled pitch roof. Very understanding of my requirement & brought in the relevant trades to focus on each aspect of the build. Worth the cost as this is built to last. I would recommend highly.
