Insulation, draught exclusion painting bromsgrove - Insulation job in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire

Job description

The aim of the project is to make the living room a pleasant and cozy environment, so I am only looking to insulate the living room (approx 12ft by 13ft , 8ft 9in high).

My house is about 100 years old (so I don't think suitable for cavity wall insulation).
Red brick exterior is part of the character of the house so I'm interested in internal insulation, not external. The room has a double glazed bay window with a seating area approx 6' wide on the 1 exterior wall. There is plasterwork coving and a picture rail which I would want to keep or reproduce as again this is part of the character of the building.

The suspended wooden floor may also be a candidate for some insulation.

Once the insulation work is complete I would like the walls and ceiling painted too, but happy to go elsewhere for decorating if necessary.

I am looking for guide prices and advice at this stage, but if the work described turns out to be affordable I have savings ready to use and will move to hiring as soon as I can.
An idea of the time it would take to complete the work would be very useful too.

Feedback for Mr F. Bennett

Frazer was very professional and coped well with the changes of scope that we had to make before the work started. He has done a really good job and we are really pleased with the results, I would definitely hire him again and would recommend him.
