Move steps and lay patio slabs - Landscaping job in Chatham, Kent

Job description

I would like the steps on the left hand side moved and filled of the raised area and plastered and new steps cut in to the middle of the raised area. Once the steps have been made patio slabs put down on the raised area.

I would also like the steps to follow up into the grassed area where the timber retaining wall is, i would like these go into the garden and not encroach the slabbed area.

I have taken some pictures which are attached and measurements will follow

  • The following information was added Friday, 1st January, 2010 : 1st Picture is of the steps to be moved. 2nd Picture is where i would like the new steps put. 3rd picture is where the second set of steps to go up into the garden.

The wall is brick built and i believe that the material underneath is chalk.

Feedback for kentish builder

I posted a job for my steps to the rear garden to be moved and patio laid, Nick offered to view the jobin the evening,he arrived on time and spent time explaining to me what would be involved and pointed out where there may be problems and suggested possible solutions.

Each day thought the build he started on time as promised and through the job kept the garden and the area clean and tidied up as he went along, throughout the job he ensured that the work that he was carrying out was what i wanted and if there was a problem he took time to explain and offered a solution.
He finished the garden on time and to the budged that was agreed despite a few of changes to my original idea and extra work that wasn't expected.

Nick and his team worked very hard every day and i cant fault their work, they worked to a very high standard and paid great attention to detail, both my wife and i are very happy with the finished garden and it looks better than that i imagined it would.

I highly recommend Nick and have no hesitation in hiring him for further work in the future.
