Feedback for PL-Construction

Left with unfinished kitchen. Floor not level, new flooring not laid, tiling not finished, plumbing not finished, electrics not finished, outside electrics not started, taps on wrong way round so hot comes out of cold, boxing in pipework not finished. Arthur started off well, but slow, then he missed a day here and there, plasterer was messy and didnt clean up after him so windows still cover in plaster. Still one kitchen unit waiting to be hung. Not had certificates for completed electrics or gas fitting from gas man. Had money earlier than originally agreed for materials that did not appear. Problems with family were reasons for no shows. Vehicle problems? Moving house, finishing off other work. Gave money early again on stage two so he could move house and a reference for new landlord and then had money for more materials that again did not show. Ask to pay for other materials which are still in a box waiting to be fitted. As Arthur has received virtually all the quoted bar £100 can no longer afford to pay for someone else to finish. Arthur has not communicated with us for many weeks although we have made many attempts. So a warning to all - best to avoid this chap, may state it is family business but only he turns up no one else unless you count his son? The standard of work he actually did could be construed as good but shame about the rest that wasnt done !!!
