Convert garage into an insulated boot room with storage - Conversions - General job in Basingstoke, Hampshire

Job description

  • Property owner

Customer description

We would like to turn our garage space into an insulated room. No specific purpose other than a boot room for dog walking and warm storage area. This would include moving the french doors from the lounge to let in more light and replacing them with bi-folds. We would also like to convert the downstairs toilet into a utility room. No plans drawn up and there are no walls that need to be taken down. Toilet/Utility: There would be a change to the orientation of the toilet so the current door would be blocked off and a new door cut into an existing kitchen wall. Toilet and hand basin will need to be removed with plumbing fittings made good and power sockets installed. Garage: Insulation and plasterboard to the brick walls/ceiling and hard wearing flooring laid. Power sockets installed.

Feedback for Imperial Building & Landscapes Ltd

What can I say, absolutely fantastic service from Colin, Keith and the team. After my garage conversion they jumped straight into internal improvements for me with lots of ‘adjustments’ as I continually added extra work. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all very honest if I had a questionable idea!
Always reliable and on time and I was amazed at how tidy these guys were, minimising mess which was a challenge in the limited space they had to work with.
Knowing my husband is working abroad, the whole team went above and beyond to help me and all the time creating a jovial atmosphere. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Imperial and will only ever use this awesome company going forward.
I will actually miss the team when the job is complete!
