Barn roof - strip and re-cover - Roofing job in Ripon, North Yorkshire

Job description

This is the first stage of converting a barn into a 4-bed property. It involves stripping the existing concrete tiles, re-felting, latting and covering with Spanish slate and stone ridges. The roof strucure is extremely good. There are coping stones on the gables
which will need to be removed, lead flashing fitted and then the stones replaced.

The barn is 17m long x 5.5m wide. The area of the roof is 140 sq metres and the pitch is fairly shallow - only about 35 degrees.

Trevor and his team did an excellent job on our barn roof re-cover. They arrived promptly each day, worked really effectively as a unit and finished the job well within budget and time scales. They also cleaned up the site at the end of each day. Would recommend.

All I need now is a builder who's as good!!
