Having had a pretty bad experience of roofing contractors over the past few months it was a relief that Alex came to look at the job when he said he would. The price seemed reasonable and he juggled other work to do the job before we went on holiday. Pedmore turned up as planned, which in itself put them well above the three other roofers we have tried to engage. The work was done efficiently and it was pleasing to see and hear proper work going on after the last firm that had messed the job up. They redid the guttering that had been previously put on back to front, replaced lead work and explained to me the work they had done. It looked like a neat and professional job. They left no mess at all. It rained heavily that night and the leak, that has been going on through three roofers and 5 months, appears to have been fixed.
The roofing industry appears to be full of unreliable, incompetent and in the extreme crooked individuals. It has been a real relief to come across Alex and colleagues at Pedmore who appear to be none of those things. I will be recommending them to friends and colleagues and can give no stronger endorsement than that.
