Job description

The house is a 1930's semi with the typical arched front entrance. About 1 foot behind the brick archway is an 1960's aluminium and glass door with windows on both sides and above. We would like all this to be removed and replaced with a more traditional doorway which fits in with the property.

We already have a door. What we need is a wooden doorframe, short brick walls on either side, small frosted glass windows above the walls on either sides and bricked up above the doorframe. (wooden panels may be possible instead of brick walls but would not be as good for insulation. Quotes for both wood and brick options would be helpful).

Ideally, you could come and visit the property and give us a quote.

Feedback for Michael Pocknell

Mick did a fantastic job and was by far the best tradesman we've used so far in renovating our house! The ugly 1960's doorway was removed and a new doorway was built which fits in seemlessly with the rest of the building. Mick showed enthusiasm for making a great-looking doorway and consulted us throughout to make sure we were happy. I would definately hire him again and recommend him to others.
