Empty a rubble-filled pond - Landscaping job in Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Job description

  • Landscaping project
  • Small garden up to 100m²

Customer description

At the bottom of my garden is a large concrete pool that a previous owner filled in with rubble, limestone grit and a layer of decorative pebbles. I want it emptied (or mostly emptied) so I can backfill with soil and plant trees. The concrete shell needs cracking or drilling through to ensure drainage. Area is approx 6m x 4m and I need to go down at least 1m, so total volume is at least 24 cubic metres. The main problem is access, which is down the side of my house and fairly narrow. I think this would most likely require a team with wheelbarrows and shovels, and maybe a jackhammer to loosen the rubble etc. I can hire a skip, or removal from site and proper disposal can be included in your quote. If you want to include a quote for supply and infilling with stony topsoil too, that'd be welcome.

Feedback for The Landscape Artist

We had two builders (including Tom himself) for three days on this task, which had some awkward access issues overcome by them having the right equipment available. They were unobtrusive, friendly, did an excellent job and tidied up well afterward. Would definitely recommend.
