A collection of bits and bobs:

• Our kitchen, hall and landing all have ceiling LED lights (the ones that require transformers) and about once a month one of them will fail, including the transformer. It would be good to know if there is an underlying cause and in any case, fix the 3 failed ones (one needs a new plastic bracket to hold the wires in).

• A light switch no longer rocks back and forth properly, as though there is something in the way, but i couldn’t get in to look.

• We also need an outdoor front light installing as the old one has stopped working.
