Old ball-valve in hot water system's header tank in airing cupboard is dripping into tank - so suspect it is never quite turning off. Time to change it before it gets worse. Suggest is best to change the whole ball assembly rather than just the rubber valve (I don't even know if that's possible these days) as is all pretty caked up in lime-scale.
