We are in very urgent need of a damp proof specialist to rectify small areas of damp in our home.

In particular, we have a small area of rising damp on a pier between our kitchen and front room which wraps around into the kitchen.

We had scheduled to have this work done, but we have been let down.

A new kitchen is due to be installed on Monday (27 August) so we would need someone immediately.

What has been recommended to us by all companies providing quotes is taking the plaster off back to the brick, injecting and using a membrane before replastering.

After than, we have a stretch of hallway with damp that we would also like rectified. This is less urgent as no additional works are being undertaken in that area.
