Laying 2.4m x 1.2m x 18 mm ply boards in room in house - Flooring job in Uxbridge, Middlesex

Job description

Existing floating floor (Wickes laminate floor, with taped hardboard under and soft insulation board under) to be lifted and put in front garden for disposal by others.

Lay ply-boards which will be already supplied. There are a total of 10 boards to be trimmed as necessary and screwed to remaining original timber floor boards.

This concerns the living room 21 ft x 10 ft in my house (built about 1900) and the narrow entrance passage adjacent 10 ft x 2 ft 9 in.

This ply floor will form basis for LVT planks to be laid on top. Please do not quote for fine filling of the plywood floor joints - this will be done after by floorer.

Only screws for fixing down the boards are to be supplied in the quotation.

I am ready to have this work done as soon as is convenient this thursday or next thursday would be good.
