Plasterboard and brick slip tiling a basement - Restoration & Refurbishment job in Southwark, South London

I have a basement area in my property which I would like to make a bit more livable. At the moment the bricks are mainly exposed but painted. I would like them to be covered with insulating/damp proof plasterboard and then covered with brick slip tiles (the original bricks are not in a great condition).
In addition, the ceiling to the basement is to be re plastered and lighting replaced with LED spotlights.
Feedback for London Trusted Builders Ltd
Started well, but soon costs spiralled due to confusion on the estimates, constant badgering for additional instalments to 'pay the boys' despite certain milestones not being hit.
They only showed up to work intermittently, with excuse after excuse each more absurd than the last, being stood up for numerous meetings and broken promises.
The 3 week time line has now gone into its 4th month, 4k over the estimate and still half complete. I am current living in a dangerous building site and no one is answering any of my phone calls or emails. It's been reported to the police and I am perusing legal action and a refund.
As I am, someone recovering from severe depression and anxiety, Kostas and Mr Maroulis have certainly helped push my recovery back a significant amount. Perhaps something they are proud of? Who knows...
