Gary visited me for a site visit within a few days of posting my job. As promised, I received a detailed job specification shortly afterwards, giving me the option of two different pointing finishes.
When the job commenced, Gary and Archie got straight to it, grinding out the old mortar, and preparing for the new pointing. They stuck diligently to the task throughout two days, and completely re-pointed the rear of the house and the top part of my single storey extension. As well as this, Gary repaired my front wall, which was falling apart. He even managed to find a replacement brick to match one which had crumbled away. Finally, he did some making good of the front porch area, which had been damaged during removal of some doors.
The job was done without the need for scaffolding, and Gary's price was also better than other quotes I was given.
Special mention must go to Gary's partner Claire, who was excellent in maintaining contact for my questions and the making of arrangements for the job's completion.
I am really happy with the job, it has made such a difference to the rear of my house.
Thank you!
