New combi boiler to be supplied and installed - Central Heating job in Altrincham, Cheshire

Job description

Please provide an indication of costs and what is involved in installing a new combi boiler in my house. I currently have a Saunier Duval Thema F30 which was installed in 2004 and is now giving me problems - it keeps losing pressure. My house is a 1930's 3 bed extended semi and my boiler is the sole method of providing heating and hot water. I would like to have an appropriate combi boiler from a more respected make like Worcester Bosch or Valliant installed.
I am also on contract with British Gas and they say that the system needs to have a magnetic filter installed to remove magnetite.

It may also be appropriate to move the boiler to a new location (from the kitchen to a utility room). Any installer will need to be prepared to work crawl underneath floorboards if required as I have had a new wooden floor put down in my hall and dining room which I do not want lifting during installation.

Please breakdown your quote into approx costs for the boiler, materials and labour. If moving the boiler to a new location adds significant cost, please provide two quotes, one with the new boiler going in the same place as the existing boiler, and the second, with the boiler moving to a new location.

Feedback for Flow-Right

I originally asked Steve to come round and quote for a new boiler. However, a new boiler wasn't required in the end. I subsequently asked Steve and Gareth to quote for a few other jobs including installing a magnetite filter to my central heating system, replacing a radiator, installing an additional radiator to another part of the house and running electrics to an outside building.
Steve and Gareth provided very fair quotes and the knowledge they have of their respective professions is second to none so I hired them. I must say that they worked tirelessly to get all the jobs done and were a pleasure to deal with.
I highly recommend Steve and Gareth for any plumbing/electics work. I will definitely use them again in the future.
Thanks guys!
