Job description

The underfelt has perished at points where it meets the edge of a wide, horizontal, lead lined valley, the width of the roof. Rain comes into roof space at the middle truss, 2' above valley height (lead level). Unsure whether patching will suffice or if all underfelt needs to be replaced. Leadwork is sound. 1st floor level, so easy external access via ladder. Easy access to internal roof space. Roof size 16' wide x 8' high. Age approx 40 years. Scaffolding not required. A few cracked clay tiles may need replacing (we have some). Quotes to include labour and materials.

Feedback for amc roofing

Matt and Dave visited promptly after contact to assess the job and provide a quotation. A verbal quote was given, and agreed. They arrived for the job on the right day, at the right time. The job (remove all tiles on one side of roof, replace perished underfelt & batons, refit tiles) took 2.5 days and was completed without interruption. The finished job looks very neat and tidy and all rubbish was removed. We had no sweeping up to do or cement to clear, etc., etc.

There's been no leak following the first rainfall since the job was completed, and I'm cautiously optimistic the work has cured the problem.

I'm very pleased with the work. I've no complaints and would happily recommend AMC.
