Floorboard sanding - Hard Flooring job in Clapton, East London

Job description

Several rooms worth of floor sanding:

Hall - 7m2 of old boards, 25 stairs, 4m2 of newly installed planed board Room 1 - 9m2 of old boards - never been sanded but sound Room 2 - 16m2 previously sanded boards which need a light going to remove the varnish and then re-varnishing

The job is to countersink all nails and screws, sand down, fill any holes with filler made from resin and sawdust from first sanding, sand down filled holes and then varnish with two coats of water based clear varnish.

Marek was prompt, polite and very helpful. He turned up to the minute when he said he would, and completed the job (sanding & varnishing wooden floors) quickly. He offered helpful advice where needed. And his quality of work is excellent - the floors look lovely - he really knows his stuff. He stained some of the floorboards which were new to match the existing ones and you can hardly tell the difference.

All in all I cannot recommend Marek highly enough.
