Job description

We're in the process of redecorating our master bedroom and have removed a fitted wardrobe from one wall. The skirting boards were damaged behind the wardrobe so we've removed them and need new ones to match the existing ones in the rest of the room. The wall is quite damaged behind the old skirting and we're not sure if that will need cementing and plastering first.

* The following information was added Tuesday, 5th May, 2009 :
I've added photos of the full wall that needs work, a close-up of the removed skirting area and a close-up of the remaining skirting in the rest of the room.

The original skirting is 120mm high and 22mm deep so we need to replace the one wall-section with the same dimensions. The skirting is flat-edged.

The amount of affected wall length is about 5.8 meters and about 120mm high.
