Render & plaster small corner of dining room - Plastering job in Bristol, Avon
Posted3041 days ago by slartibartfast
I have a small section of wall that has been taken back to brick to fix a damp issue.
It will need rendering/replastering back to the level of the surrounding plaster.
The area is approx 2.5sq m, - from floor level to approx 1.3m high. It is in an alcove next to a chimney breast, so is a slightly awkward shape (i.e it is not a flat section of wall, digital photos available).
The plastering needs to be to the correct spec for post-damp repair work - with the correct salt inhibiting additives and so on.
* The following information was added Thursday, 23rd April, 2009 :
Note, you can see damp in the plaster above the dado rail in the picture, so I will probably take this section back to brick too (it is rising damp).
Feedback for AJS Electrical Services
They were able to do the job at short notice, which saved me a lot of hassle. Arrived both days on time, and did a great job. Would use them again.
