Build in cupboard under stairs and one bic in room - Carpentry & Joinery job in Sydenham, South London

Job description

There are 2 projects but I would like one team to quote on and handle both jobs please.

*Job 1*

We have an angled space under the stairs in a narrow hall and wish to enclose this with a built-in-cupboard with shelving and storage space. The hall is very narrow and we would therefor like something that is very slightly recessed.

Shelving and space to hang coats would need to be built in. Access would also need to be left for the gas meter and electricity box. Approximate measurements have been taken for your quote but of course you would need to visit and work out/design an exact solution for us to decide on.

The finish should be in mdf and painted cream to match the skirting boards. We would also like to know if there is any slightly 'see-through' material which could be used for the doors to give the illusion of depth and any comments are welcome on this question.

*Job 2*

The second job is in an upstairs bedroom where there is a recessed space which needs to be converted into a proper cupboard. The interior would need to be re-finished as the back wall is a bit un-even and there is some different sized pieces of plasterboard currently in place (see pics). Shelves and hanging space would need to be installed and then doors hung.

The doors could be mdf and painted the same colour as the skirting boards (satin cream).

We look forward to recieving your quotations.

Feedback

Feedback for Vladimirs

Vladimirs is a very accomplished tradesman and to say we are pleased with the work is a slight understatement.

It was a rather complicated job in the end but all was taken care of with confidence and skill. Vlad and his colleague finished slightly over time (due to extra work that needed doing) but instead of rushing the job they simply informed us and ensured the quality of the finish was as we expected.

Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services and would quite happily hire Vlad for even bigger jobs. He knows what he is doing.
