Kitchen refurbishment, new units, worktop etc. - Kitchen Fitting job in Colchester, Essex
I have just put down a deposit for a new kitchen from Wren Kitches for delivery January or Feb next year, but this can be adjusted accordingly. The kitchen and dining space measures 10ft wide by 16ft long. Access is by one single door from hall (hall to front door) and large sliding fully glazed door into conservatory at either side of the room. The majority of the floor and wall units are down one side of the wall and at one end of the room furthest from the doors.
There are a total of 16 units, 1 sink, integrated double oven, induction hob, wine cooler and chimney cooking hood to be fitted, wired and plumbed. I have from Wren, 3D plans and 2D plans with annotations which I can supply on request.
Currently there is a stud non-load bearing wall with arch through the centre of the room to divide the kitchen space from dining but I would like this removed.
There is a boiler on the wall which will be housed by one of the units. Currently there are 2 flush mounted ceiling light fittings holding 4 bulbs each, 1 in the Kitchen space and one in the Dining, I would like the quote to include removing these and installing spot lights instead.
I look forward to inviting you round to assess the work and provide a quote.
Thank you, Jon

Matt did a great job with our Kitchen fitting. He was one of few that not only turned up on time to access the job but actually provided a quote shortly after without the need of chasing up multiple times! It surprised me how many fitters turned up and then never provided a quote. Matt was professional and very friendly. For the first few days I took time off work to make decisions on the electrics, where sockets would go and help rip out the old kitchen. The rest of the time I called on my lunch to find out everything was going to plan without a hitch. We made adhoc changes as required and he took pride in his work.
The tradesmen he used; plasterer and electrician were also very friendly. The electrician did another job for me whilst here, which I was very happy with.
I asked Matt to add under cabinet and plinth LED strips which wasn't originally in the plan and he fitted this in at a reasonable cost and they look great!
I wouldn't hesitate recommending Matt to friends and family looking for a Kitchen fitter who was reasonably priced, on time, tidy and trustworthy to leave in the house on his own.
