Job description

Hello,

We have recently moved into a new house and our building survey mentioned our chimney stack had fractured and was leaning.

We are looking to get advice and a quote for the repair that would be required.

Secondary to this we have a small roof that requires lead seal repairing as it is leaking in heavy rain. If you are able to quote for this too.

Next week there will be someone in the house all day Monday - Thursday.

Many Thanks

Les Thomas

Feedback for M.A. SKINNER

We hired Mark to repair or damaged chimney, repoint our gable wall and fix some leading that had slipped out of place and was causing a leak in wet weather.

Mark is a very friendly and very knowledgable. He was able to explain exactly what we would need to have done in a way we understood. Which gave us confidence.

Once we accepted Mark's quote he was able to arrange the work for a time that was suitable for us. During the works Mark and his team kept us up to date on what they were doing and why. They were very professional and turned up when they said they would and warned us about there being a lot of dust.

The work was completed on time and to a superb standard. The gable wall looks brilliant. The chimeny was in a much worse state than we expected (a strong wind could of bought it down!) Mark and his team have rebuilt the chimney replacing all the worn out bricks removing the rusted metal ties and replacing with brand new one. The chimney looks as good as new and we are delighted the chimney is now structurally sound.

After the work was done Mark and his team tidied everything up after themselves and swept up as much of the dust that is physically possible.

I would recommend Mark to anyone who is looking to have some work done and will definitely be using again when the next parts of the house need repairing!!
