Light sanding to timber block floor ('parquet') - Hard Flooring job in Buckhurst Hill, Essex

Job description

Hi

I am looking to have my flat floor sanded. This is required following an electrical re-wire where the builder's plaster has caused damage to the surface of the wood where it has soaked in.

The flat has been redecorated in its entirety so particular attention will need to be made to ensuring that the dust is kept to an absolute minimum AND that all dust is cleared afterwards. This is paramount so the equipment used will need to reflect this i.e vacuuming the dust as it sands.

I would prefer to avoid treating the floor afterwards as far as possible.

We are looking to let the flat at the earliest opportunity so availability will be key.

The room sizes are as follows:

  • Lounge (4000x3500mm)
  • Hallway (3500x1000mm)
  • Bedroom 1 (3500x3500mm)
  • Bedroom 2 (3500x2000mm)

The flat will be available to view tomorrow morning.

As the builder has agreed to part fund the works any quotation will need to be entirely transparent, on a fixed basis and with the extra over for any treatments being kept separate.

Many thanks for looking.

Chris

Feedback for Floor Sanding and Finishing

Robert did a great job and he was upfront and transparent with his price, and the potential extra costs. We could then make an informed decision. He didn't charge us any extra costs however after we agreed that he would do the work.

He did a great job and did it for a fair price.

Will use him again and recommend him.
