Terrace house cellar window, back door replacement - Windows job in Northampton, Northamptonshire

Job description

I have a traditional Victorian terraced house in Northampton which is mostly double glazed. The exceptions are the back door and the window to the cellar which are both very old and need replacing. See attached photos.

The Cellar is quite clear and has power, and the back door opens into the Kitchen.

Would prefer quotes for modern UPVC double glazing options.

Cellar window: Width 107cm, Height 50cm Back Door: Width: 85cm, Height 197cm including frame

  • The following information was added Sunday, 8th February, 2009 : As I have had a few questions about this, a similar style back door but upvc double glazed would be fine - something that would let light through but be warmer and more secure. The cat flap is not needed.

The cellar window would not need to open, so a fixed one would be fine, with presumably some ventilation.

Feedback for Midas Installations Ltd

An excellent job - Steve was friendly, very knowledgeable and punctual. He gave me a very good quote and completed the work right on schedule and budget. The window and door were great quality and fitted very well and I am very happy with the outcome of this work.

I'd have no hesitation in recommending Steve to anyone with this kind of work and would certainly contact him in the future for another job.
