Lounge, dining room, hall and cloakroom skirting - Carpentry job in Stone, Staffordshire

Job description

The floor in our house will be replaced with oak in early April. After that we will be decorating. The job is: we need our skirting boards removing in March in the lounge, dining room, hall and cloakroom. We also need four doors removing temporarily. Immediately after the floor has been laid (by another contractor), on about 7th/8th April we need new skirting boards fitting and all the doors to be shaved to cope with the higher floor, then rehung (a fifth door will also need to be shaved and rehung at that time too). The decorators are due on 11th April.

Feedback for ch building services

Clive responded swiftly, visited quickly and weighed up the job expertly. Time was really tight due to new flooring going down and decorators arriving immediately after he had finished.
Clive timed his work perfectly and worked around the other jobs. We arrived home to find the new skirting on and all our doors cut to fit the new flooring and hung excellently.
We couldn't praise Clive's calm approach too highly. He was knowledgeable about the other work going on around his jobs and therefore ensured that everything was done so as to make the other people's work as easy as possible. He worked well and left our home clean, with the job done every bit as well as we hoped.
We highly recommend him.
