Job description

I need an electrician to remove an existing fused electrical fire socket and move an existing double socket to behind a new electrical fire suite surround so as to hide the mains cables from the fire.

Ideally would like the socket to be dug into the wall rather than proud of it, as it now is.

This is in the lounge area and we are top floor flat (1st floor). I believe the mains cable runs from the loft so if it needs repositioning then it should be easy to access.

Ideally would like this job to begin next week so we can then decorate etc whilst off from work.

  • Added 12th February, 2016 : Also would like the tv to be installed back on wall (above new fireplace) but with all cables hidden (hdmi, power etc.) thanks

Feedback for EPEB Ltd.

Darren contacted me almost immediately after I posted the job. Was very pleasant and asked what exactly needed doing. Made an appointment for that Sunday for 10am.
On the day he contacted me earlier to advise he would be approx 30 minutes late and at 1030 he arrived.
We enquired if additional work could be undertaken in the form of extra sockets being added - to which he agreed. After scoping the job, he proceeded to clear the room and cover with sheets.
Darren had the right equipment and skills for the job and all was completed to a high standard. Once complete he cleared up and vacuumed the lounge.
I have no hesitation in recommending Darren.
(He has yet to come back to complete the additional work we asked - as only part of that was completed....I'm presently waiting for him to contact me to make the appointment)
