Shower enclosure & mains shower fitting - Bathroom Fitting job in Johnstone, Renfrewshire

Job description

We are looking for a local bathroom fitter to install a new shower enclosure (already purchased) and a mains shower in our upstairs bathroom. We are the property owners.

Aside from some cracked grouting between the floor tiles, the bathroom is in great shape.

The existing shower enclosure has been removed (leaked badly) and we are replacing an existing electric shower which is still in place. A hot water pipe will need to be led to the new shower (from the nearby sink I'd guess? less than 1 foot away).

Our house has an unvented tank in an upstairs cupboard, with a downstairs mains shower that delivers excellent pressure. We believe the water pressure upstairs is suitable for a mains shower, but we would also like a pump fitted if the pressure turns out to be too low.

Our bathroom walls are currently tiled, but we would like the tiles behind the new enclosure to be replaced with a single shower panel to reduce the chances of leaking.

So, to sum up, we are looking for someone to:

- Install a new (purchased) shower enclosure
- Install a new mains shower (potential for pump)
- Removal of a few existing tiles (approx 1.5ft x 1.5ft) behind the new enclosure
- Installation a new tile panel behind the new enclosure

We can buy the shower/panel ourselves, but we would also be happy for you to provide these if it'd be easier.

We are actively looking for a tradesman as well as quotes for the job.

We would like the job to be completed by the end of February at the latest.
