Bathroom refit - Bathroom Fitting job in Basingstoke, Hampshire
-Removal of old suite & tiling
-Removal of plasterboard walled porchway into room Some brick at top. Electric connector for light enclosed within currently (see picture).
-Move position of toilet - waste pipe runs under bathroom floor. Will need new pipe to join existing pipe and old pipe end closed off.
-Move position of sink. I think no new water in pipe needed as water pipe runs behind new position of sink. New waste pipe needed to exit house and enter drain away a short distance away from exit position.
-Install new curved bath. I think no new water/waste pipe required
-Box in any pipework on display
-Remove existing ‘traditional’ radiator. Install new towel radiator in approximately same position. I think no new pipe required.
-Installation of new extractor fan. I have been told it needs a new circuit for building regs.
-Tiling of one full wall and part of another
-Plastering of walls might be required but we’d prefer not to, to keep cost down
-Painting remainder of room
-Flooring will be done separately so not required.
-Existing water pipe runs down right wall.
-Toilet waste pipe runs out of the bottom right corner of room
-Waste pipe from current sink runs directly out of house from current location. I think this can be removed or the waste from the new bath could be run in to that instead of the waste exit of the old bath.
We will buy all large items - bath/ taps/ paint etc
See pictures of new andold layout and for dimsensions

Feedback for MapleLeaf Plumbing & Tiling
Kevin was a great workman. He completely re fit our bathroom including removal of existing items, plumbing new toilet in new location (which meant concrete floor had to come up to find existing waste pipe), installation of new items (bath, shower, basin, sensor light and extractor fan). Plumbing was moved in to the walls, walls were re-plastered and tiled/painted. Kevin did a great job and I would thoroughly recommend him.
